Good to Know
SSDs are significantly faster and more reliable than traditional mechanical hard drives (HDDs). They have no moving parts, make no noise, and are far less prone to failure — making them an excellent long-term investment for any computer.
You have the option to keep your old hard drive in an external USB enclosure so you can continue to access any data left on it after the migration. This is a great safety net and we highly recommend it.
