I made the switch myself back in 2001, walking away from Windows XP out of pure frustration — and I never looked back. Over two decades later, I still believe Linux is one of the best-kept secrets in computing. It’s fast, it’s free, it respects your privacy, and it runs beautifully on hardware that Windows has long since abandoned. My daily driver has been Linux ever since, and I want more people in the Greater Toronto Area to experience what that feels like.
That’s why I started Switch2Linux. I’m not a big company — I’m a local guy who genuinely loves this stuff and wants to help everyday people make the transition without the headaches.
